FILAMENT & ASH

Volume 1

Across a strange and shifting landscape, the Trenn and hokshara exist, survive, and dream. None have ever seen the sky, nor ventured beyond, for it is covered in thick cloud from which ash falls. Beneath the surface, a vast maze labyrinth changes configuration at random, and strange horrors and wonders, living and technological, wait to be discovered.

A woman of the Trenn flees a broken heart while wrestling with her own demons. A priest of the hokshara travels with two strange companions in search of his destiny, while others of his faith huddle within a massive underground stone refuge. A hulking zealot, emboldened by secrets and maddened by poison, draws a horde to himself to fulfill a mission of faith-fueled revenge. And around them all, the world itself groans with sickness.

Paths will cross, mysteries will be encountered, and secrets small and vast will be revealed, below ground and above....

Other bodies

volume 2

In watery depths, creatures glide. A submerged city wreathed in vine communes with an ancient beast. When travelers from beyond arrive to the spherical sea, unrest ripples across the dreamlike deep. Those who live underwater are faced by foreigners for the first time; some welcome them and some fear them. The travelers, Trenn and hokshara, learn for the first time that they are not alone in the void, and never have been.

What connections exist between lives, old and new and yet to be born, and between elemental worlds?

What messages will be spoken from the depths? And are there yet more worlds than these, cloaked in the void, waiting to be found?

CONFLAGRATION

Volume 3

From water to fire, the travelers answer a wordless summons from the far reaches of the starless void. Trenn and hokshara soon discover the source: a burning world, sentient and perhaps insane, raves portentous declarations. And beneath its blasted surface, a long-slumbering host begins to stir, disturbed by vibrations brought by the travelers themselves.

Secrets will be shared and revealed in the heated and howling dark, as a twisted horde begins to move, and to remember. Perhaps that which sleeps should not be disturbed.

An end and a beginning, above and below, as new life evolves and the cycle of life and death begins anew....

INVASION

volume 4

An age has passed. Everything is familiar and yet new. Unrest across an established network of strange worlds, oddly formed and symbiotic. The Trenn, hokshara, and others feud under the eye of the inscrutable and mercurial Intarch. Bizarre, advanced, curious hybrids rule precariously, among whispers of rebellion. A ship is found in ruins, with vital technology missing, along with all the inhabitants, and rumors swirl.

What separates life and technology, if anything? What of the numinous; does it exist, or dwell in some other, completely separate state?

And when a horrifying and chaotic threat suddenly appears, bent on destroying everything, all the kin must learn to work together, or none will survive - not even the worlds themselves.
